(Preview)
For my 67 Parisienne Convertible, I need the plastic part that holds both sunshades in place over the mirror. I have Ames Performance catalogue and it appears that the part only comes in a kit with the set of sunshades. Does anybody have a spare or know where I can get one and if so, what the actual name of t...

Has anyone tried to install 3 point seat belts on 1965 Parisienne/Bonneville?
(Preview)
Hey everyone, I'm wondering if there were any successful attempts to install 3 point seat belts on 1965 Parisienne/Bonneville/Catalina? Would the top anchor go to the roof or the side panel? Thanks in advance for any info.

1968 Parisienne or 2+2 Convertible, rear speaker location
(Preview)
Was looking at a 68 Parisienne convertible today, and it had the dash mounted fader for rear speaker, but couldn't see the rear speaker location. 1967 was the last year of the center top of the rear seat, and it wasn't in the right rear (or left for that matter) armrest. Any ideas on its location?

1969 Pontiac 2+2 Dash Insert Reproduction
(Preview)
I was able to source a 1970 Pontiac Dash for my 1969 from a member. However, the woodgrain is completely different that year and No logo. I am working with a graphics company to reproduce a sticker copy of the 2+2 insert with the 2+2 logo and the outer white stripe. Because they are very busy, this is at lea...

Interior parts color question
(Preview)
Hey everyone, I have a few questions as always:) Now it's about interior colors for 1965 Parisienne. I'm planning to restore it to more or less authentic look except few minor things. For colors I'm leaning towards Fountain Blue for exterior and Parchment for interior. I found on the internet some co...

Convertible rear speaker
(Preview)
Recently saw a picture of a 1970 catalina convertible with a speaker in the middle of the rear seat back. Did not think this was an option for my 1970 Parisienne convertible as i have not seen one in the 46 years I have had the car! The parts book is also vague so if anyone knows let me know. Maybe this guy inst...

Hey everyone, I'm trying to gather all the parts for the interior, bought mirror assembly but the mirror screw from OPGI doesn't fit the mirror's thread. Does anyone know the screw size for attaching mirror to it's base and screw sizes for attaching base to the ceiling. Also it seems to be a mix of diffe...

Dismantling the door of a '65 Pontiac Laurentian...
(Preview)
Hey... So I just picked up this 1965 Laurentian 4-door sedan that has a 283 w/ powerglide and (among other ailments...) sticky doors & windows. I want to take the door panels off, scrub the crap out and fix it all up but I can't seem to get past the door handles & window cranks... How are the secure...

Does anyone know how to adjust window angles?
(Preview)
Hey there. I'm also dismantling doors and rear walls to lube all window rollers and rails and faced one issue. One of the windows seems rubbing against the front rail on the rear panel. Tightening the top two nuts is moving the rail with the glass all together. Does anyone know how I could move the glass...

1969 Instrument Cluster differences

Broke out some of my collection today. Most didn't make it through the 80s with radio hole intact I have one good piece to build. But the mid-year stuff on these cars still blows me away. Always very subtle but everywhere you look. One has a chrome band around the stainless insert. None of the others I h...

So now I've reached a biggie (at least in my mind). Doing the headliner in my 65. I'll try to document this one the best I can, as it might actually be useful to others. Once done the headliner, glass in, the car can get it's safety and be finally put on the road! Still a ways away yet, I still have to pull the b...

Repair/Restoring 1965 Laurentian sedan door panels post.
(Preview)
Getting into some work finally on the Laurentian doorpanels. Tired of driving it around bare. It's not a good look to be sure. Ugly. So I figured this job might be suitable for a little needed post, so why not! Anyways, the panels on the 65 as found were in tough shape. All the upper vinyl was wasted, the m...

Starting to put the interior back into our 66 Impala which I assume is the same as a 66 Pontiac. When the rear package tray was removed it was just a piece of old carpet, all the OEM stuff was gone, so there is no reference. Now I have an insulating pad and a new cardboard package tray from NOS and was wonderin...
