If a bought a chevelle replacement hood for my Beaumont, would the hood catch be compatible with my hood latch, or would I have to do some altering of parts?

i have a rusted area at the base of the windshield , there is a strip about 2 inches wide between the winshield and the grill ( where the wiper shafts run throught) this strip in question is rusted and i would like to know if i will have to change the whole cowl or juste the top part this part appears...

Anyone use this paint on here? If so has anyone had problems with the ( 4th Dimension ) line like the clear lifting off or cracking!

is there a reason that my 68 beaumont trunk lid hangs over the back panel and is not flush it has never been hit

Could anyone please tell me if the metal emblems for the trunk lid, and probably the dash, are the same for the 1969 model. I realize that the back emblems go in a slightly different place. This is the metal chrome channel that the weatherstrip fits into running from the front windshiend pillar all the way back to the rear quarter glass. I am a rookie with beaumonts.. Can someone please explain the mid body side trim on my 65 beaumont deluxe wagon 4dr? I presume? that it comes on 1965 "deluxe" beaumonts only. Does this come on 1965 4dr deluxe cars only? Did they make a 1965 2dr deluxe? I can't find a pic anywhere that shows...

I am looking for a 3 1/2" butterfly spring clip that is either a blind clip or a bolt on clip for 65 Beaumont Rocker molding. Any ideas because the biggest I could find was 2 3/4" and the molding itself is 3" so it wouldn't work. Thanks in advance, Paul.

Hi i finally got some paint on my wagon parts and it kinda turned opaque the first coat went on fine then the last coat turned whitish it is pale yellow(72) colour.The paint is 2 part urethane and i did put flex agent into the paint for the rubber nose.I left it overnight to see if any change and it did not cha...

what does this involve ??? motor and tranny are out , also interior is gutted ( but my floor pans are all welded in ) i want to slip in a new full trunk floor under there , thats why i am asking ??

Well my holidays flew by and I didn't get the car painted but its close !!! I had a spare hood so I sandblasted it and Epoxy primered , sealcoated and painted with 3 coats of paint and 4 coats of Laquer, it turned out pretty good for 1st attempt and it was good practice before I get to the car.
