Looking for repro valve cover and air cleaner decals for my 275 HP, Super Econoflame 327. Any suggestions as to who might be able to provide the most authentic? Thanks in advance...

If you refer to my most excellent engine nomenclature chart in the library, prepared after endless hours of research you will see the Super Econoflame available in HP ratings from 250 up to 300. I have heard that if you contact Bruce he is very helpful.
Thx again for the steer! I will give them a shout.

Bruce indicated that they do not have the air cleaner decal for the 66 327 275hp Econoflame. Bummer. Checked the website for Osborn Reproductions. The Cdn Pontiac decals indicate only 1 kind. I'll call them... thx
Edit: I called them, and the closest they have is a 327 Super Econoflame 250 hp. Double bummer.
Does anyone out there have pictures of both the valve and air cleaner decals for a '66 275hp 327 Super Econoflame?

Just to clarify this above statement. Early cars 64/65/66 used valve cover decals. Later it changed to aircleaner decals. (67/68/69)
I dont think that GM ever used both aicleaner and valvecover decals together at the same time. Not on smallblocks anyway.
The 1966 gurus can correct me, but i think all you want is the "327 super econoflame" Valve cover decals. Only the Aircleaner decals had HP ratings, the canadian VCDs never did.

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH. The other one has a longer roof.
Didn't know that. Thanks for the heads up! In that case, hopefully someone will have a picture of the correct vcd...

Thx. Sure not having much luck with their website though. Spoke to a live body there today who said they only seem to have the '67 250 hp...

So I just recieved 327, 275hp valve cover decals for my Beaumont. The concern is that they say "Pontiac" on them, and I'm thinking that the original decals would not have said that. Am I correct? Anyone out there that know's for sure what the '66 Beumont SD 327 valvecover decals had on them? thx in advance...

I got mine (for the valve covers and air cleaner,) from Rick Pawlas in Victoria and is the editor of the cccb magazine, I think he is a member on here as well. You could get his phone # from info.
Thx r66sd. Do yours say Super Econoflame, or just Econoflame, or simply 327 275hp?

the 66 sd 327 275 hp valve cover decal says beaumont not pontiac , i have one in my box of tricks, i will look for it when i get a min,
I was sure it wouldn't say Pontiac, but I am surprised that it says Beaumont. Thanks muchly Cheetah427. I look forward to seeing it! (r66sd: Do the reproductions from Rick Pawlas say Beaumont?) Thank you both...

these valve cover decals i had scaned myself off a 66 sd boaumont rag from conroy pontiac this was a one owner car and it was the 275 hp motor , notice the gm part #on the lower right hand corner
the car also had the red econo flame air cleaner decal but it was to far gone to scan so i dont have that one , this car had the valve covers with the rectangle area in the middle for the decal and the long indent along the top, painted orange tins this car was bone stock

Thx for your efforts cheetah. I had mine rebuilt 25+ years ago and I know it had some vcs's but couldn't for the life of me remember what they were. I am still running the indented vc's with the rectangle, so somehow I'd like to get some of these reproduced. I will check with both Rick Pawlas (assuming you don'e mind r66sd) and Bruce Levey to see if they can be done. Also interesting re the air cleaner decal. Do you remember exactly what it said? (ie Econoflame, Super Econoflame, Beaumont?...) Thx all!

You may already know it but the big block 67 air cleaner decal said Beaumont on it and also had the same Beaumont crest on it with two maple leafs that appears elsewhere on emblems on the car.

Nope, didn't know that...two Maple Leafs, how cool is that!
As per beaumontguru, it sounds like aircleaner decals historically weren't typical on the '66 or the small blocks. "Early cars 64/65/66 used valve cover decals. Later it changed to aircleaner decals. (67/68/69)..." and that both vcd and acd would be an anomoly. Therefore I sure would like to know what they actually did with these ones. Thanks all for your feedback
