A very good home to this new found old gal!!! Saw an ad in the local bargain finder and decided to call and inquire. After talking to the seller and finally meeting him and seeing the car for the first time today, I suggested that I would give some assistance in trying to find a new home for his car.
Hopefully he will become a member on here very soon and fill in some of the details for the questions you may have for. He is asking $8500 for the car and while some work will be required, it runs great and appears very structurely solid!
His name is Les Steed, tel # (306) 327-5750.

Do you mean the 1,611 produced? Now I have seen the appraisal on the absolutely perfect 2+2 400 in my storeage. It isn't that much more than the asking price so I have to say is a convertible carry that much premium?

I have in my hand an appraisial done Oct 29 of '03 by Special Interest Appraisal out of Kelowna. It rates the car a #3 with a value of $12,800.
In the meantime, I should state the interior will require re-doing as both front seats are torn as well as the rear seat bottom. It will need a restro for sure.
It is a 10 bolt as well.

Clint knows the number on Hillars car too, I find it hard to believe that a mint car with a 400 & posi and duals is less than this one which needs a resto on an appraisal. Unless a convertible carrys that much of a premium.
Yes Carl L48 = 300 HP, which now that I think of it is 35 more than the 400.

now why did you guys have to show me this car? Lets see, the 12 bolt in my garage from a 68 Parisienne convertible will bolt right in, I have a couple spare 70 454/turbo 400's and all the necessary brackets/crossmembers. hmmmmm
I love the 1970 Parisiennes' especially 2+2 's There is a couple around here in good old Ingersoll. When one of you guys get off your duff and buy my 79 T/A then I can get one! I think the price is a bit high needing a resto, but there are none around here for sale..... .
In 1970, the 2+2 was it's own model, so it's not a Parisienne 2+2. I just got my pink card from my new insurance company, and I'll have to let them know as well.
Kelvington SK, only 50 miles further than when I went to Star City SK to look at that black / white 2+2 a number of years ago.
Drivers side looks good, but I'm concerned about the passenger side. Those look like original stripes, so might be original paint.
Definately not original paint........ Holes in the bottom of the fenders, typical. He has had the car for over 20 years and I believe he said he was the 3rd owner It was bought out of Regina as well. Has had the engine done in March of '04.
