Used car lot in Dundas Ontario with a pile of Ponchos

I was reading the latest issue of Hemmings when I came across a full page colour ad for a used car lot in Dundas, Ontario. They have a bunch of Firebirds and the odd GTO for sale.
Here's the website:
http://www.old-brock-auto-sales.ca/Dundas-Used-Cars-Trucks-For-Sale.aspx

Has anyone here ever paid them a visit?

Here's a sample of some cars listed:

59-380.jpg

45-230.jpg

Apparently this one has only 18000 miles:

Plus many more..

Nice cars, but yet again, no prices! On that fact alone, I would shop elsewhere without inquiring. Why do people advertise without adding a dollar figure? I do not want to call and talk to someone for 10 minutes to find out that they are dreaming in technocolor!

Add me to the list of someone who usually sees an ad with no price as being strictly a fishing expedition by the seller...

When I looked on Google maps on a hunch, the dealer is exactly where I thought it was. I remember that location was an old Gulf station for the longest time. I used to drive past that place regulary when I drove from home in Ancaster to my friend's farm in Freelton. The bypass road that runs behind the place was built in 1979, taking with it the Greensville General Store that stood in its path.

Funny, I remember that Gulf station in the early 1980s had a nice 1964 Parisienne convertible always parked there. It was light blue (not Silver Blue) with a white top and it had Olds Rocket Wheels on it. More of my infamous useless trivia...

Come to think of it, several doors down from that place until about 1984 there was a green 1971 Barracuda convertible (rare!) with blackwalls, dog dish caps and get this, a 225 slant six & a 3-speed manual trans. A little old lady owned it (honest).

A car guy about a block north of that station always had interesting cars in his possesion. From 1970 through 1977 he had a mango 1970 Super Bee with a Ramcharger hood, 383 4-speed & 3.91 gears. It was pretty rusty when he sold it in 1977. He then bought a gorgeous all black 1963 Impala SS from California, factory 409 dual quad. Later he had a Flame Red 1964 Impala SS 409, then a rare 1960 Chevy Biscayne Sedan Delivery.

Definately, my kind of yard.
If wasn't going to Vegas this weekend I might go shopping, but when there are no prices, it is very difficult to attract a potential buyer.

My brother just got back from Vegas. They rented a car to go see some big ditch that they call Grand something or other, anyway he past a wrecking yard that they wanted to check out on the way back. Got back late, It was closed.
