No, but that certainly is not good!

Seen the inside of the front yoke on a driveshaft that looked like that though.

 Same here... Was on an early '90's RCMP car at the dealer in Labrador. We wondered why the shaft would not fully seat into the trans to slip by the diff companion flange!!! Would have loved to be there that day when that all came about!!!!

For 5 years I did some mentoring with some "troubled" teen boys. We built a 77 Firebird drag car, turbo 350. When we were pulling the engine/ trans to rebuild, I was at the front undoing engine stuff and the boys were complaining the driveshaft wouldn't come out. Of course, I knew it all and said that's not possible! Finally I went to the back and could not get it out for nothing. I finally used a sledge hammer to get the yoke to slide off the output shaft! I too would have liked to have been around to see when that happened...

I had the opposite of that happen in my 55 cameo running a 383 stroker, twisted off 2 torque convertor drive hubs, finally had to have a custom titanium one built by TCS to handle the torque of the stroker its no wonder they call them stump pullers
