I think the 7076a, 7077b and 9864aa codes are for cop cars. Specific fleet order RPO codes. I have seen these same codes for chev's aswell.
Wow lots of cars with F40 suspensions. But hardly any with the G80 posi option.

Cop car for sure, Q05 is blackwall, nylon 4-ply tubeless. Also available with front disc brakes.
It would be sweet if that car was still around here, maybe it is???

This data is off one sheet . Can you imagine working for GM Vintage and having all this data at your finger tips ? I didn't post the key codes and ser no's in case there are owned cars out there but the data is all there. If anyone has a car with these build dates and the ser # starts with 155800 and some , give me a call it might be one of these. Anybody figure out what the X26 code is ? And the Strato wagon has no paint code. Whats the deal with that ?

Oh my goodness..................
If you have read me write about me knowing a guy who bought a 67 2 door post 396 ex cop car to pirate the engine for his 70 Chevelle SS........
I bet you anything that is the car. I can still picture it sitting on the street in Morris right across the road from where I took the picture the other day of that gold/brown 66 Beaumont wagon. It was sitting at the repair shop waiting for them to yank the engine and transplant it. The body got crushed. Sad, sad, sad........

I will have to see if I can find out who 84236 is for a dealer. It was not from our town though, the guy with the Chevelle bought it somewhere else. I can ask him. He lives close by. As a matter of fact, here is a picture of his house!!! (I have too much time these days!)

thats interesting ,i have a tag from a St. terese built 69 Biscayne 2 door sedan v8 car its paint code is FC122C and has a blue interior
From what I've been told, through these years B-Body cars the Fleet Codes were put on the Paint Code lines of the Cowl Tags as the color was included in the Fleet Code info.. Geo. and the boys at GM Vintage have never been able to help w/ the Fleet Code info...yet?.
So what happened to the '69?. Sounds like another 2 Dr. Post Cop Car...RCMP maybe too?.
I'll try and get a few digi pics of my Biscayne and it's tag together to post here.. I've had it stored in my buddy's barn for well over 10 years now waiting patiently for the $ and time to do the car.. Life as a single dad has allowed little of either thus far...but I wouldn't wish for anything different!.
There's another similar '67 w/ the same Fleet Code & 'RED TAG RCMP' stamping from down East I saw online once.. I saved the tag pic and if anyone wants I'd show it to them in a PM but don't want to post it being it's someone elses car..
What's the breakdown of the Ponchos listed above represent?.

To further clarify the data Fred posted for me. This was a copy of the production run of my car and back in 1990 the previous owner had sent in to GM Vintage Documents for docs and they sent this sheet as well. Its on old fax paper and getting faded so I typed it out. I left the serial numbers and key codes though in case there are owners out there. Too bad they don't still do this !
