Hello everyone my name is Lawrence and I just bought a 65 Beaumont SD conv and the fellow I got it from suggested that I join the Poncho club. I wondered why he would suggest I do that ,I thought it was a bit strange, just because I bought your car why do I need to join a club. I did not give it much more thought after that until a few days had passed and I decided to see what the club was about. After checking out a handful of subjects and following the lines of discussion I realized what the appeal was. To me it is a large group of like minded people, from many parts of the world, who share the same passion "there vehicles". I also noticed how every one offers advice when another reaches out for help or advice and there is no criticism of of ideas or comments. Another excellent feature of this club is the sharing of information and leeds on where and what to purchase and use to improve each others car. All in all I found this club to have great appeal and I look forward to learning from all of you and one day be able to offer my two bits of gained knowledge.
I know everyone would like to see pictures of Rosies car, but as of this time I have not had much time to take any, but I will get some pictures when I get a bit more time. Thank You all for letting me be a part of your group.

Welcome here Lawrence.
Don't be scared to ask for help. Many, many Beaumont resources here in the form of parts, service and sales literature, as well as tons of guys who have hands on experience with them.

Well. I picked up the "other project" today.. LOL.
it will be making it's way back to BC where I can, hopefully, start putting the parts together.. then unload it. there's a slim chance that the original engine and transmission are still around.. that would make one of 133, 6cyl sport deluxe convertibles around
