Hi 427Carl,
Cool, I love your cars.
The bottom one looks like night watch blue.
A 66 night watch blue Grande parisienne is exactly what I'd like to get.
Do you still own it?
Tom

Hi Bob,
Over priced I agree, but worth a call.
Thanks
Tom

That was my car from 1981 till I think 1989. It's a factory 396 4 speed (I installed a 427, keeping it looking all original though). I sold the car into Edmonton in January, by fall of that year it was sold to a man in Ottawa who still owns it. He stops by this site from time to time. The car is not for sale. If it was, you'd have to be second in line !

And Carl is kidding about the West Coast Legend part. The only reason I would be a legend around here is my notoriety as a man who pillaged and plundered a lot of full size Chev and Pontiacs for their big blocks when I was young and foolish. And I'm in southern Manitoba, just a little bit far to be considered a West Coast'r!

That is SWEET.
A 66 Grande Parisienne with a 396 4-speed.....wow. What I wouldn't give for one of those.

If I am remembering right, GM says they made 90 of them with a 4 speed. Or is it 90 with 396 4 speed? I forget exactly.
Anyway, yes, lots of fun.

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to introduce myself, and say what a great site this is.
I used to own a 1966 Parisienne, 2 door hard top, night watch blue (loved that color).
I'm currently looking to purchase another 66 Parisienne.
Looking forward to chatting with you.
Tom
Sherwood Park

Welcome from Canada's east coast.
Welcome. There's a project 1966 Grande Parisienne just listed three days ago on Kijiji, in Red Deer... I think the ask is a little high myself but this may be helpful: http://www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-cars/red-deer/rare-1966-grande-parisienne/1053079000

For some reason I think I might have the lower hand in this negotiation :)
I don't really care for these cars, but maybe I could be convinced to take it off your hands for the right price of course.
Welcome from Edmonton. Good luck on your quest. Maybe see you at a coffee night or cruise night. We meet in Sherwood Park sometimes.
