Close to the same as here in the valley. Think we are looking at about 5 as the high in the next couple of days. Washed a couple vehicles in the driveway today. Love the hot water outlet from the garage.
Significant snowfall accumulations exceeding 15 cm are likely over these areas on Saturday.
Locations: southern and western Nova Scotia
Time span: Saturday and Saturday evening.
Remarks: Current indications are that snow will begin in southwestern Nova Scotia early Saturday morning and then spread eastward across the province, reaching eastern areas by afternoon. Along parts of the Atlantic coast, especially in the southwest, rain is expected. Over these areas, snowfall amounts will be much lower than inland areas. There is some uncertainty in the track of the weather system and a slight move to the north would shift the areas of heaviest snowfall.

We have the warning out as well. 15-25cm for us. This would be our first significant snowfall.

Mostly showing rain/some snow mix here on the north shore.

It's snowing in NS now. They are calling for 25-30 cm in the province, but mixed with rain along the coast. You know, the stuff that makes you feel like you are shovelling concrete instead of snow...

Never got what they called for here. Just enough for postcards
We woke up with 11" of snow on the ground. I just came in from plowing. The new-to-me Chevy 3500 moved the snow splendidly

Halifax started off snowing pretty good, then switched to rain in the afternoon, and back to snow and high winds in the evening. Probably only got around 6 in of snow here, with a layer of slush and ice underneath. All in all, we made out pretty well. Apparently parts of Cape Breton got around 30 cm with lots of power outages to go along with it.

Here's a few quick shots.
I must be on the internet. I said 11" but it's closer to 10
I should say the rain we had exchanged one issue for another. Less shovelling, but I just got back in from clearing the approx 2" of ice off the cars. Had to let them run for quite awhile to melt it to the point where I could beat on it with the snow brush to remove the chunks of ice...
Did I mention I hate winter?

Our driveway has a bit of a slope and I just slid down it taking our recycling bin to the curb. I guess we had freezing rain, looks like a nice layer on everything here.

Most Manitobans are agreeing now that it doesn't matter if winter settles in here. We've had it so nice so far, melting or close to melting everyday. we have maybe a quarter or most a third of our normal snow on the ground for this time of year. The neighbor kids are usually sliding on the hill by our backyard and there's barely enough snow there for them to slide. I try to walk twice a day, about 4 1/2 to 5 miles total when it's nice out and I think I've only missed one day. The downside is the messy streets!
