Great to hear that youre going to bring another SD convertible back onto the road! I just took my car out of storage and spent the long weekend behind the wheel. I have the sunburn to prove it! Id love to get any information you can share on parts. Id also be interested in getting the documentation from GM. I think I have an email somewhere, but I love the official letter!
All the best on the build!

Got it up in the air squared up and braced. Next peg to the floor, drop chassis and cut floor out
I sometimes wonder why you didn't pick up Jack Brohu's '66. You remember the July 2010 Feature Car, a Marina Blue '66 SD convertible that was out of Niagara On The Lake. It ended up down east a few years ago. I loved that thing.
I wondered what had happened to this 1966 Beaumont Sport Deluxe convertible. The last I heard anything about this car was when you bought it off my friend Colin. I think that was 2014.
Well now I can tell him this 66 Beaumont SD convertible is now on its way to being restored and brought back to life. I really hope you consider repainting it Royal Mist Metallic again.
Colin, will be happy to hear this.
You post made my day.

Bless you my son! Seriously, few have the resources to see something like this through. As a result, these rare birds have been getting increasingly rare.
As you said, it is a joy to see them brought back from the dead. It is a challenge, and it is good to challenge oneself.
