Dale, did you ever consider splitting the exhaust into dual's. The sound that comes from an in liner in heat is amazing.

Hey George
Thanks for the nice words.
Are you kidding? Dual exhaust !
I have not even given any thought regarding the exhaust system, all that I know , is that It needs one.
when we ran the engine on our stand, I don't know what made the most noise, the electric fan on the engine stand or the engine itself,
regards
Dale

Hey Dale,
Nice work on the car, I hope I get my 1950 Pontiac 4dr Fleetline up and running soon. Do you have the original gauges in the car or are you going with aftermarket?
I finally have my body on my custom chassis so now I just have to sort the interior and get rid of my 2 spare cars.
Hope the car is coming along well for you,
Lucas

Gauges , well I converted my wife's car to a 12 volt system, so the originals gauges won't work unless I get an aftermarket voltage reduction unit, and I don't want that.
My Chrome instrument cluster has been re-chromed, at Cambridge Custom Chrome, the opening in the cluster is exactly 2 1/16 ", will be tight . I am leaning toward auto meter or Dakota digital s .
When you say Two Spare Cars, by any chance are the Front Door Vent Windows for sale ? I am interested , If so can you send me some Pics.
When you say custom frame, did you make the complete frame or just the front clip ? Tell me about the power train, from the looks of your Pic and the wheels, i don't think your running a flat head 6 .
Regards Dale
