I hate it when it gets to -27. We were at +15c one day this week, saw a low of about -8 after that.

I tell people I'll take -30 rather than +30 any time. They think I'm nuts. I can dress warm for -30. I can't peel off any more clothes to cool down enough at +30.

Wow, we have -31 coming tonight, -40 windchill and I thought we were likely the coldest in Canada at that.
Interesting side note. I follow a group in Arizona where we have vacationed a bit and they were complaining a while back about their hydro bills in the heat of the summer. Many of them were saying around $400/month which is very similar to our hydro bill here in the winter to heat our house and garage!

I hope January and February are not worse than this! This is the coolest Ive seen at the end of a November and the beginning of a December since Ive been here. Plus weve had almost 2 feet or more of snow. interesting how the Fahrenheit scale supersedes the Celsius scale after a certain point. First time I have seen -50+.

Local ski mountain is opening tomorrow but with water restriction, driest November on record for the mountain.
Usually we receive lots of liquid sunshine here in Nov, but not this year.

got caught in this mess yesturday. I was lucky to bail out at the last exit. This bridge takes you over the Welland Canel , Taking the exit brings you to a lift bridge and of cource there was a boat going through so it was up
-10C here tonight, then back to +10 by the weekend. Snowfall warnings in place but only for 20cm overnight.
Wild west coast winter, LOL. But that's pretty wild that Florida is that cold.

According to my Facebook weather guru:
it's supposed to be 6C here on the 24th
Meanwhile you guys in SW Ontario may be facing blizzard conditions on the 24th so be prepared for that.
Ontario guys watch this video. This guy knows his stuff and is rarely wrong. 70mph winds are possible
