We're going to have a Pearson Airport Christmas! Night 3, two cancelled flights. I've booked westjet for tomorrow night and Air Canada on boxing day. A bit of wind here, and it's cold... But it seems the airlines don't want our family to get to Winnipeg!

We are getting "hammered" here in Bracebridge. Over 3 feet of snow since last night. We got 12" from 6-8PM tonight. Plowed/blew snow for 5 hours today, doesn't look like I did it 3 hours ago.....
I got snow so high now, the snow blower won't blow over it... AND it's still snowing

Had to go into the belly of the beast today, Fort Erie Race Track for frozen pipes. Main HWY closed so I had to take the back roads. Entrance doors to building snowed in
Snow almost all gone, just patches left. 9*C here this morning and as Timbuk was saying we had flood in the low land area's
that are prone to it. Lots of water on the road, but almost back to Our normal winter weather. Come on Spring.

The extra high tide didn't help matters at the river mouths either. Don't think I've ever seen the basin so high.

Beautiful hoarfrost these past few days. This is on the northside at my shop. But unlike many of you folk that receive snow in a bunch for a day or 2 and then disappears in a week, this snow will be here until May or later. And the season will bring more for sure.

Beautiful. We've had lots of fog and that hoarfrost as well. Looks like a calendar picture when the sun comes out.

Our forecast for Mahone Bay for Friday,Saturday, Sunday highs are 11,11,and 5 with 30-45 mm of rain.
This has not been winter this year yet, really havent had frozen ground yet and I havent hardly touched a snow shovel yet this year, only to clear off the doorstep of a small dusting. Had to search for my car snow scraper for the first time on Sunday. And the long range forecast FWIW shows not much cold weather. We also have an expression for a stretch of good weather, boy are we going to pay for this!!

We had about 15cm of snow yesterday however it looks like we'll be getting the same mild weather and rain Don is this weekend so I expect it will gone. The view from my breakfast table this morning:

Jan. 23, 2023 - Toronto this morning, not photo-shopped, contrary to the commonly held belief throughout Canada the big smoke does get winter and snow.

Looking wet and mild for us into New Years. I have a feeling we'll get hammered from January-April like we did in 2015
