So today +10-12c, rain to maybe 50-70mm, wind 70 to 100kph. Tomorrow night temps inland in low lying areas -16c, on the coast -10c.
We did get 20-30 cms last weekend, ground not frozen so it was slush at ground level. Big rain earlier this week took all of the snow. Ground has really not been frozen yet this winter which is very abnormal.
Weird winter continues in Mahone Bay. And now only recommended to have 1 or 2 beer a week. Not sure which year I am working on now.

We have wind warnings here. Gusts to 113kmh so I suspect I'll have more trees down in the woods. It's been raining heavy most of the day (snow on some parts of PEI). 5c here right now. This is the rainiest winter I've experienced in 10 years of living here. My sump pump came on the other day. 1st time in about 5 years. It took me a while to figure out what that noise was lol.

Going back up to 0°C for Sunday and +4C for Monday... so 2 nights and 1 day of really cold temperatures, then back to above seasonal.
Currently no snow on the ground with 5cm predicted for Tuesday. Then nothing significant in the forecast. Strange winter out east.

Forecast models are showing -30c for PEI this weekend with wind chills in the -40's. This would be the coldest I've experienced since moving here.
Around midnight in Toronto and I'm just in from walking the dog. Phone app. says -29 in my part of Toronto just about 15 minutes east of Yonge and Bloor.

We had an 4.2 Earthquake yesterday centred in Buffalo. It gave us a little shake. Now we will see double digit temps
10-15cms today, could be second time to use the blower. Forecast for 13 and sunny Thursday. We had one really cold Friday Saturday cold snap, for about 48 hours 2 weeks ago, but most weeks have had way more days above freezing than below. February 13, cant be much winter left.

I'm waiting for Timbuk to say it's +30 and sunny on the island!
+10 out here on the west coast Island. But winter is coming back next week with a low of -3-4, LOL.
Chance of some flurries and then back to spring the next day. Seen a few cars out on the road already. But
they have been laying down some brine so hibernating again.
Hazards: A prolonged period of freezing rain leading to significant ice build up in some areas. Ice accretion of 10 to 20 millimetres is possible. Northeasterly winds gusting 50 to 60 km/h.
Timing: Continuing to early Thursday morning.
Discussion: Light snow will become heavy at times and mix with ice pellets before changing over to freezing rain by early this evening. Freezing rain will continue tonight before tapering off early Thursday morning to patchy freezing drizzle or drizzle. Gusty northeasterly winds will diminish early Thursday morning.
Extensive utility outages and tree damage are likely due to the combination of ice accretion and moderate winds.
Another light wintry mix of precipitation is possible Thursday afternoon into Thursday evening.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots will become icy, slippery and extremely hazardous. Slow down driving in slippery conditions. Watch for taillights ahead and maintain a safe following distance. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic in urban areas. Beware of branches or electrical wires that could break under the weight of ice. Public Safety Canada encourages everyone to make an emergency plan and get an emergency kit with drinking water, food, medicine, a first-aid kit and a flashlight. For information on emergency plans and kits go to http://www.getprepared.gc.ca.

Hope this is the last dip for the winter
It's almost Saskatchewan cold here tonight. I'm pretty sure this is the coldest wind chill I've experienced since moving here.
Could be worse. We could be on top of Mt. Washington. Coldest ever recorded

Mamma nature doesnt know when to quit!
The only good side to the cold is that you do not have to deal with the freezing rain and possible power losses.
We are on well water and we are warned to fill our bath tubs.
With the bathroom renovations going on, I don't have a bath tub
(Just a shower stall)
