It was a decent enough day here in PEI that I managed to cut my lawn for (hopefully) the last time this year.

According to The Weather Network there's a Nor'Easter coming to the Maritimes this weekend. Luckily it will be rain and not snow. 80-90k winds I have to say 2023 has been very dreary and soggy.

I washed the truck in the driveway yesterday. Not often I can do that on November 15th. Today it's supposed to snow a little bit. Then back to 8* and 9* for Friday Saturday.
We see that alot on our little island. A coworker called and said she couldn't come to work as she turned around because the roads were so bad and visibility was terrible. At work the grass was still green. She lived about 30 mins away.

Saw a sidewalk clearing machine converted over to spread a brine mix on the sidewalks.
About a 40 gallon tank of liquid.

Gladly trade the warm temperatures for cold if we could get some sun
Nope, I refuse to think that way. At least not this winter we won't pay for it. Maybe next winter it will be a harsh one but we're going to sail through this winter like nothing. Unless I'm wrong................
Yup, yesterday when we left Fargo ND 180 miles south of here it was 14*. Today at home it's 1* and rain with a few flakes mixed in.

We've got something coming Monday. Looks like heavy winds and rain. This chart shows wind speeds in MPH for southern Nova Scotia and New Brunswick Monday. It's from a US site so that's the only coverage I see so far.

Youre wrong Carl, based on your possible coffee cancellation?
Monday for us is 13c, 100kph wind, rain, hopefully taking our recent snow.

Big cool down from the 14° yesterday but it looks like no rain and well get a few sunny days
Its 15c here now, expect over 100kph wind today, 15+mm of rain, and a temperature drop to 0 tonight. Its been colder than normal, we still had ice and snow from last Mondays storm, will be all gone today.

Windy today but still no bad weather in the foreseeable future
The lights just came back on after 28 hours without. Wind gusts measured 125kmh at the coast near our place. Three power poles caught fire down the road from us thanks to falling trees.
Another beauty day, still lots of old cars out on the roads

Last 2 days have been great
I know it's like this every year in the snow belt but it always amazes me how quickly the road conditions change driving across southern Ontario.

Near me,
Same road, 25 minutes east.
And near another member 30 minutes away,

My yard at 6 am.
The snow makes the grill/hood as tall as the new Silverado.
Wheels and snows from the Tacoma, the Truetrac I added helped a whole lot with traction in this heavy wet snow.
We are so going to pay for this.....
