Yesterday here was 20*, barely a breeze, blue skies, just an absolutely perfect day and what a bonus to be in November.

When I ordered two new windows for my house in early August, I thought an October install would be nice,
Then I found out that they were delayed until November.
What a gift I have with this weather.
I have to remove the siding to chase away the ghost of installations past.
So not just a simple job.
Thank you Mother Nature

But the brownie points came at a unforeseen cost.

And today out of the blue, contrary to the forecast I saw, we hit 19*!
Ya, the house was rocking, and I was upstairs reading the story of Ernest Shackleton's Antarctic expedition onboard The Endurance!
Ouch, way too early!
Yup, first real snowfall of the season, with its requisite traffic chaos. The first one is always the worst one.
