Other than the car shows on Speed or some of the content on Discovery, I don't really watch much TV. However there was one show the wife and I made sure we didn't miss: Jericho. We were hooked on this show. Well written, thought provoking, and always had one of those endings that made you yearn for next week's episode. Well, in this age of reality B.S and Paris Hilton wannabe TV shows, CBS axed it. Tonight it the last episode (we get it a day earlier here in Canada). Anyone else here watch it? If not, you missed a good series. On the bright side, I guess I gained an extra hour to work on the car or be on here!

Yep, Jericho. Long story short-
Terrorists detonate several nuclear bombs in the U.S. Jericho, Kansas is one city that was spared -both the bomb and the resulting fallout. It's not long before all aspects of government collapse and the citizens have to take matters into their own hands.
It made for riviting TV, and in this day and age, it's not that far fetched...
i love jericho but the last few episode they changed it from saying series final to season final so are you positive?. sucks they are ending it. you cant just start watching in the middle or your lost. like d.b. charector.

It's official that CBS canned it however there is *slight* hope that another network (sci-fi?) may take over. There were two episodes filmed-one if the show wasn't cancelled with a cliff-hanger ending and one that sums things up. The latter was aired here last night and will be in the U.S tonight.

I like it too, and you're right, it's not all that far fetched. Look at it this way: in this day and age of instant messaging, think for an instant if you didn't have any way to communicate to other people, and all electronics were rendered useless from EMP. How would you get food, water, supplies, medical supplies, gas, medicine, etc. Frightening.

It is frightening. Us guys with cars that still use points would be hero's (or targets?). I still have a tube radio (a 37 Westinghouse "Tombstone") that is EMP proof!
Carl: If you go to the official website link I posted above- you can watch past episodes online.
