Thanks! Well I don't have the honeycomb block off plates for the rear of the scoops so they are wide open. It is not set up like the rare & renown Ram Air set up for these hoods but there is plenty of fresh air geting under the hood. I run an open element air cleaner. I would probably never fork out the hundreds for the rare OEM Ram Air parts but I feel confident enough in my abilities to fab up something similar, we will see. My 81 X11 had an almost identical solenoid operated system and I have good photos and drawings of the 73 system too. The hood has only been done since Friday!
As for Wednesday cruise night, May 7th is opening night, showers forecast. Usually arrive about 7:00 to 7:15 and stay until dark or weather chases us away. Because it is opening night will most likely go even if it is raining just to show support.
