I have a couple of Pontiac's, one is a restored '75 Grand Am 2dr with the Pontiac 455. I've had it since '89. The other is a '76 Grand Lemans 2dr that need's to be restored that I bought last summer in Calgary. I've collected many nos and used part's so I should be starting on the car this summer. It was built in Canada and has the Chevy 350 in it. My first car was a '77 GLM and this was the closest year I could find in decent shape.

Welcome here.
I guess you likely aren't the right guy to tell about the 74 Grand Am 455 that I sold to a guy who crushed it cause the quarters were rusty.........
I now realize how rare the 455 cars really are.

Another warm welcome from one 73 -77 A body owner to another! I've had two 73 Sport Coupes and one 1976 Grand LeMans, all Oshawa built and Chevrolet powered, rather Canadian Pontiac powered!

Thank's for the welcome, very interesting site!! The 455 Grand Am's are very scarce, I've stripped and sent a few to the crusher as well. Although, they have all been 400 car's. Finding part's for the '73-'77 A-bodies is getting tougher all the time. Half the fun is looking for the part's and belonging to board's like this!!

Any photos 76GLM ? My 76 was mayfair maize whith a tan landau roof, tan interior, nice green tinted glass all round, 15 " Rally II wheels, white walls and a factory pin stripe from nose to tail.
Finding parts is a big part of owning this vintage of LeMans and as you say a lot of fun too.

I have picture's of both car's but I'm not computor friendly enough to post them. The GLM is polaris blue with a white landua vinyl top. It has factory bucket's and console, rally II's, fender skirt's and am/fm radio. It also has a blue vinyl interior. The car has never been repainted and was bought new at McKay Pontiac Buick in Calgary. My GA has most option's including factory sunroof and the ducted hood.

How time flies, it's been two year's since I was last on the board. How sad is that!! Anyway's, I no longer have the '76 GLM 2dr but have replaced it with a '75 Grand Am 4dr with a 455. I bought the car in '08 out of Calgary, slowly working on it. Sliver with a oxblood bucket seat interior. I also bought a '76 LSC last year in the Edmonton area. Canadian built car with a Chevy 350, silver with a firethorn red bucket seat interior. This year I bought a '76 GLM 4dr as a part's car and yes I still have my '75 Grand Am coupe that I've owned since '89 and is restored. I'll have to return to the board on a regular basis to check thing's out!!
