I have a couple of 69 Impala frames, and have a friend who needs a frame for his 64. I know my frame is good for 65-70 , but my interchange book does not go back to 64.

I was looking It seem the 65-70 are the same
1965 was the end of the "X-frame" chassis and the first year of the new perimiter chassis that was used without significant change through 1970,
was stretched and used 1971-1976, and onward after that still similar in design but sized more like a Chevelle chassis from 1977 onward...

been covered previously... 65-66 frames are the same....67-70 frames are the same but different. the rear control arm crossmember is very different between 65/66 frames, compared to the 67-70 frames.

Best frame is 69-70; has bigger front hubs and is also more likely to have disc brakes, especially if you are luckly enough to score one from a 70 Impala Custom or Caprice on which discs were standard equipt.
thanks in advance
