Hello, my name is John Nutt and I am 15 years old. I've been excited this whole winter because my Uncle and I are working on his 1969 Pontiac Convertible this summer and I get to help! I really love the old cars and he told me to join this site due to its great community and how its full of fellow Poncho lovers. My Uncle is also a member of this site his name is 69-Tin Indian's I look forward to reading all the logic everyone has to share!

John, welcome here. My son is the same age as you and has been bitten by the car bug too. Not sure how that happened
Stay excited and involved in this hobby. You will meet great people, make good friends and have a lot more to show for your money than if you spend it on partying! Ask my son. He will tell you that because as long as he does what I just suggested, he will inherit a 67 Nova SS 327 when he turns 21!
Hats off to your uncle for getting you to work on his car with him. You will have great memories of that for the rest of your life.

If he is near you maybe he could adopt you as a second uncle and offer some insight he has learned on his other project Mark!

John, you must be counting the days until you get your license. Our son is. He told me tonight, 46 days until he gets his learner's.

Better yet Carl... maybe he just can buy me out of mine!
And he is only 1 1/2 hours away after all.

Hey Buddy,
This is yer Uncle 69-Tin Indian here obviously. Didn't I tell ya what a great bunch of guys are on here or what eh? And thank you Carl427; yer great as always too my friend! Stephenzone and I have a little deal cooked for spring for a spare roof I have for him so he's another great guy. Todd the site founder, creator, patriarch has actually visited me and he too is awesome! I could go on and on, but suffice it to say Lad, if you and I ever get stuck on anything as we play this summer, this is THE place to come for advice. Thanks for the warm welcome for my nephew fellas! Sure appreciated, but then of course, given such a great group, I'm not surprised in the least.
