What is the backspacing on a 15x8 Rally? I believe they are from a 74 Corvette. Can't measure, they're away sleeping with the car.
cheers,

Hey Mark,
I know its the wrong thread, but I found my answer online to the snowblower drive problem, hopefully yours too. (intermittent drive )
"There are two springs that help pull the swing plate up against the friction wheel when the traction drive lever is depressed. One of these springs had fallen off and the swing plate was pulled up unevenly against the friction wheel. "

Thanks Carl, I'd heard it could also be 4". Is that possible?
Stone', I'm pretty sure that the swing plate has both springs attatched, but I'll definately take a look...right now in fact! Thanks.

Duh, 4", sorry Carl. Fixated on 4 1/2.
Ah...! I see the edit now.
4" is good, because the wheels I'm looking at for the 67 are 4.5" backspace. Which with 255 wides(currently running), will finally bring the tires off the fender skirts in tight corners.
Stone', checked the springs. Both good. Thinking it could be slack, I moved the drive actuator cable to the next shorter hole...now the machine has no neutral.
I'm stumped. Can't find anything relavent on the net...yet.
