I took my Big Block Pontiac in for a wheel alignment and the mechanic said that the frame had sagged, bent due to the weight of the engine. Is this a common occurence? I read somewhere that youcan buy upper A Frame bushing that will help put the mounts back in specification. Any experience or answers out there?

How is he doing the alignment for camber? Is he adding shims to the upper control arms or adjusting the lower control arm cams like he should be properly?

yep, if there's no adjustment left in the lwr arm cam, moog makes offset upper arm shafts.....
Frame sag is common especially on the sub-frame cars like the early Camaro's or Nova's. I had to fix a few when I had a frame rack. Basically tie down the rails and jack up on the front cross member, not a whole lot to it. On a full frame car I would make sure the frame isn't rusted out.

I had a proper frame machine with guages when I did this. I agree with mr409, unless you know what your doing don't try this at home boy's and girl's.

Thanks Guys the mechanic said he took out all the shims in the I think upper control arm and had no adjustment left. He had it on a hoistbut that doest mean too much eh. I've ordered the Moog parts thanks to the web address from 2drpost. I have Poly bushings and will replace all rubber anyways..
