I am a new member from Alberta, originally from Saskatchewan (Regina) and looking for my old 66 SD that I sold in Regina about 15 years ago. Are there any members here that reside in Saskatchewan ? It was butternut yellow with a black vinyl roof and black interior. Excellent site by the way.

Yes the welcoming committee must have been away this weekend but I welcome you from the Okanagan and hope you are able to locate that car. I think I have seen that ad posted previously.

Stuff sometimes slips under the radar. Welcome from Regina. Sorry don't know of the car in question but hopping to hit the show and shine at Access Communications (cable Regina) on the long weekend and try to make note if I see a similar car.

Here it is, sigh, it's seen better days. When I sold this car it was almost perfect, now it is missing the motor, a 327 with 2.02 camel back heads ( new owner just dropped a stroker in it ) original hub caps and inner fender wells are gone. Body is very rough now, quarter panels, doors and I am sure if I looked deeper there would be other issues as well. I'll have to find another project that is a little more solid very tempting to buy it back, especially when it was my first car 30 years ago.
BUT..you found your old car !!!! how cool is that ?????
doesn't look to bad... on the surface..
I've never seen that one.
for interest sake.. I bought bac teh 68 SD I built up when I was 18..sold at 19 ish... licked back into it 8 years ago......rougher than your pic ..

I'll volley a belated "welcome" from Calgary. So WELCOME!
I'd be buyin' that rascal if that was mine once. If you've got the room, even just store it for now..........
I'd seriously buy back my 76' GMC Sprint "SP" or my 81 Vette (I was the original owner) even if they were rough and they were guaranteed to be mine. There's a connection to the past you know!

I am trying to imagine your pain! Tough call, your first car, you want it back but you know there's much nicer one's out there. Hmmmmm.
I know I would want my first 65 Acadian back, sold 38 years ago but it was in worse shape then than the 65 I own right now! Sentiment vs. sensible decision.......

And another belated welcome. There was one similar to this that sold at BJ a while back. (I believe the first Vegas auction? Also a 283 car I think.) It was if very nice shape. I think the buyer was driving it to it's new home in Texas. Too bad about the motor. There are some original 66 SD 327 cars out there, but they probably number less than a dozen.
