Welcome! Is it a 301, 350 or a 400 (you can just say"V8" if you want )
edit: I saw elsewhere that it is an SJ, so 400 it is.

Welcome aboard Neuf. I bet there's NOS sweeps available somewhere. Perhaps a member with the GM parts books (Carl Stevenson for example) can get you the part number.

Roger has already been to see us. This car is unbelievable condition and loaded. . Interior, lower body & vinyl top all a nice copper colour. Maybe he can give us some pictures. Unfortunately window weather strip is not available as a reproduction. They are tototly different from any thing we've seen.
Welcome from Winnipeg! Would love to see some pics if you have any to share with us.

Welcome also. The 1973-77 LeMans, Grand Am and Grand Prix are very difficult cars to restore or keep maintained since virtually no reproduction parts are available at all. The window sweeps are like pure gold, NOS ones when they come up sell for several hundreds each. Unfortunately these parts are an especially weak area on the cars and prone to rust and peeling of the rubber coating. Even our 73 bought in late 72 had these sweeps disintegrate before the car was traded in on a 76.
When you look for parts keep in mind that many LeMans and Grand Am parts interchange in many cases, things like door hinges, battery trays clusters, to name a few. The Grand Prix is based on the A body platform. Ebay is a good source for these NOS parts and you might try some of the US based Pontiac forums for leads.
