Hello my name is Domingo Vial I live in Chile and I'm the proud owner of a 1970 (yes 1970) "Acadian" Beaumont "GTA" (As they branded here) which is basically a 1968 "pontiac" Beaumont.
The car needs a LOT of work, including a new paint job, the interior floor is totally rusted the rest of the car is "OK" Rust wise, interior needs to be re done. The engine is ok, but it's gonna be changed to a 350. (currently the car has a straight 6 250)
Happy to be here, thanks for accepting me
Regards

Welcome from Edmonton, interesting that it is a 68 body and trim
I thought the exported cars were the 69 model year

That is so interesting, never was aware of the re-branding of the Beaumont. Welcome from Regina, SK.

I think GTA stands for "gran turismo aligerado" which basically means "lighweight" because the car has fiber glass hood and trunk (originally they came with the metal ones, but they put this chilean made fiber glass hood and trunk at the factory for tax reasons , I think)
