As the previous owner of BeaumontBill's SD 396, the kids are now in high school, and its time to get back into the game. Preference is for a frame off restoration (but not necessary) and the more original the better. In order of preference, I'd like to find a 69' SD, a 68' SD convertible, a 68' SD coupe or lastly a 69' convertible.........thanks, Darryl.
Not sure if these pictures have ever been posted but please see below a few of my very old photo's of Bill's old SD before it went states side!
You do know the story of its demise, and re-construction ?

Yes, I want a Beaumont. I put the photo's of my old car which was sold to Bill out there just for general interest. As for the red 68' SD Conv. on this website for sale, it is not Bills, and I was just wondering if you knew anything about this car or its history..........tks, Darryl

Hmmm , If Bill's Beaumont is the one which came from Winnipeg originally restored by Chris Colson... then the maroon color photos are the same car. I know the car Chris did was maroon when he bought it and did run centerlines for some time prior.
Chris restored it to the original butternut yellow.

Nice to see I have several other brother Darryl's out there!! Thanks guys! I am originally from Winnipeg but now my home is Calgary. Just to clarify a few of the posts above. I did the original restoration on this car and subsequently sold it to Chris (a mopar guy??) whom then restored it back to butternut yellow and sold it it to Bill. One of the photo's above was how it looked when I bought it and I think its in original paint!
Now we just need to me find me a car!!
thanks,
Darryl

If you mean the Butternut yellow car (looked white in the posted photos). Yes a friend of mine (posts on here Mikkelsen) brought it to Wpg. bought from Werner in Calgary. He did a little work on it but lost interest and sold it. I believe the current owner is the one who restored it but I do not have any contact info for him. I have heard it's quite nice.

How about 45? Not another one as clean and original as this at this price. Same owner (me) for 44 years.

It's a beauty Rick. I think this car is a great deal and anyone who knows anything should see the value there. Well optioned and complete with all the side trim.
Try sending a PM directly to Daryl to see if he is still interested.
Cheers, Brad

I know Rick and this car well. It is likely the nicest and most original one out there. Anyone buying this car at 40k is basically getting a great car for what you would have to spend restoring a project car . It is a good buy at 40k!

Rick, do you have any interior shots?
yes I was hoping to see the third pedal too
Maybe it should be in the "For Sale section" for ALL members to see.. not all can find this derail
Where's that drooling emoticon... well this one will have to do:
If I could only get that @&%$# 6/49 ticket to pay off, I'd be knocking at your door with $40K in my pocket. Beautiful Beaumont!
Is there another thread here giving details of it? If not it looks like it would be a great candidate for a future monthly feature car!
thats good lol
