Hello all, I have just purchased a 1972 pontiac ventura for my 13yr old to work on, he wanted a car like mine (1972 Nova) and this one popped up in red deer, she's rusty real rusty but we should be able to get her going by his high school years. so I thought I better sign up here to pic the poncho guys brains while we work on this thing.
Welcome aboard ! Great project for you and your son ... You'll get a lot of help here, this is a great site/people ...

Welcome from Wetaskiwin. Always nice to see someone young get into the old car hobby. You won't see too many '72 Ventura's at a car show!

Absolutely Bob, had my first one a few weeks back.....they are awesome donuts....went to Red Deer this morning and snapped up a dozen to take back to Calgary.
Yes they are the old Tim Horton "fresh at the location donuts", not what they sell today.....Donut Mill needs to expand across Alberta, if not Canada.
The best (donuts) are in the West!

well I dont know much on the ventura yet other than small block v8 with an auto. as for my nova shes a little bit away from being stock, it has a 496bbc t400 trans running 17" bmw wheels and currently getting an 05 acura leather interior, and have wilwoods waiting to go on as soon as my drop spindles show up.
