This was posted over on the HAMB earlier today. Low mileage said to be original, but I was wondering about the side trim?? I've seen a half dozen 57's over the years and none had this trim. Could you get a Pathfinder deluxe delivery?? And weren't there supposed to be three stars?

That's a great looking Sedan Delivery. We had a feature car back in 2010 that was well restored. Photo for comparison , but I make no representations about the trim.
2 or three stars looks great, from the picks I'd give it 5

A beautiful 57 but a Pathfinder Deluxe sedan delivery was never offered. It only came as the bare bones Pathfinder model. It does look sweet with the up graded trim and i would leave it that way. Some one went to a whole lot of trouble to put all that chrome trim on there.

All Pathfinder Deluxe and Laurentian models had three stars. None ever came with only two stars. The American higher models even had four stars.

Went for a walk in the snow to get a closer look and yes, my car should have three stars, the holes are there.

Just saw a 1957 GMC sales brochure showing the different models GM had for that year and the chrome and star in brochure .

are similar to my car.
My US StarChief has the 4 stars, as it has a longer wheelbase than the US SuperChief which only had the 3 stars.
