I've read that polyurethane last longer but can produce annoying squeaks. I'd really appreciate any opinions based on first-hand experience.
Also, I've seen 9 point and 11 point mounting kits advertised for my 4 door hardtop. Why the difference?

Check the service manual frame diagram it will show how many mounting points each body style has.
I'm not sure that its going to make a lot of difference rubber vs poly. Both are very dense - rubber is almost as hard as a frozen hockey puck - and then you tighten them down so very little movement.
Also most originals lasted a long time thru 4 season driving with salt etc vs now only warm, fair weather driving, so no longevity concerns.

Maybe someone makes the polyurethane ones with graphite strands, molded in.
- saw them advertised in Muscle Car review, many years ago / apparently, designed to minimize or stop squeeks

I've heard about poly arm bushings, trans mounts, and body mounts squeaking if not lubed up adequately when installed (with the supplied grease) ... but no problems if you lube them up well.
Convertibles have more (12) mounts than hardtops/sedans (8) for my car (1964). What year/type Parisienne have you got Rod?
If you have a '67 hardtop, you need a '65 - '70 Impala hardtop/sedan kit. One of the better makes is Prothane: http://prothane.com/vehicle-applications/ but there are others like Energy.

Here's a '64 sedan/hardtop frame diagram:
Re-pro rubber.... have been reported.... to squash down. and not sit as original...
I just replaced rear mounts and rad support with Poly
This subject "seems" to be like asking "whats the best oil"
lot of opinions
... but then you have "old" rubber, possibly past it's shelf life.
Here's my frame Darryl. Which are the body mount points?
