Check out this vintage inline six cylinder motor. The motor is a 1957 vintage 302 GMC inline six truck motor that has had everything done to it and then put in a sweet 1932 Chevy coupe hot rod. The coupe belongs to long time hot rodder and Waterloo resident Ian Reid. The 302 inline has been bored and stroked to the max. The cylinder head planned for max compression along with porting and polishing. Blue printed and balanced, hot camshaft, high energy ignition distributor, home made three carb manifold with three reworked rochester one barrel's with water injection. Home made split exhaust manifold with dual straight pipes. The engine dress ups are period correct WAYNE valve cover and side cover. Ian drives this car and it has never been a trailer queen so the motor is not 100% clean but it is still easy to see all the detail and effort that went into this engine masterpiece. It sounds and moves as good as it looks. Vintage inline engines are really coming on strong world wide, not just in America. They really have a die hard following but there are many new converts to this type of motor. Cheers. George.
I'm in the planning process for engine options in my 66 SD. This has got me strongly considering the original 6 cyl (which I think I can get my hands on) as a contender. I've had good experience with GM crate motors but staying with the original numbered powerplant has merit. I've got a healthy ZZ4 in my 72 Nova SS to have some fun with, so this may be a no-brainer.

YES SIR TO THAT. Good luck with the inline project and let us all have a look see when you are done.
