1953 Pontiac flathead six - starter solenoid search

A friend has an old Pontiac (1953) with a flathead six and 3 on the tree. The starter solenoid is toast.
Any idea where we could source a new/remanufactured one?
The starter bolts in from the front on the driver's side. The solenoid has two large copper terminals and one small post. The solenoid activates a bullet shaped plug that is connected to the bendix. Starter & bendix seem to be OK, but the solenoid is not.
Thanks in advance..

Yup - still 6 volt. That rebuild kit might work...
I talked to the tech folks at Delco Remy. The solenoid is part number 1114312, but they haven't made it since 1982... He recommended I try J & N Electric out of Cincinnati but I'm hoping there's a Canadian supplier out there.
I will follow up with the rebuild kit. You can't see the coil, but there's no indication it is bad (paint is clean inside & out, no signs of leakage etc). The terminals were rotten & broke off when we tried to get the cables off. Inside, the washers on the plunger were cracked & broken. The back of one terminal was scorched where it had been shorting out (the terminal must have been loose).
Neat old car. It's a 4 door. The story is that the original engine was seized after someone forgot to tighten the oil drain plug after an oil change. It was replaced by a crate engine - ordered from Simpson Sears... The original owner is still alive (he's 102).
Thanks for the lead. I saw some on eBay, but don't know if they'd fit. Likely they are a one size fits 90% of the starters from teh era, but who knows.

Most delco 6 volts solenoid are identical from that era.
