I have a 1966 vespa super that is in running condition and requires some tic or restoration. This bike was brought back from Vietnam a few years ago by it's previous owner. I am not a scooter guy and am focused on other projects so I've decided to sell this. I've had it running and through all the gears, but it backfires under load. The carb body has at least one or two stripped threads, and it wants to leak at the inlet. It's got a non-oem toggle for an ignition switch and I believe the wheels are 10 inch rather than the correct 8 inch. I imagine the larger wheels are an improvement, but as a motorcycle guy, I still feel like a circus bear riding this thing. The paint is pretty nice except for a large flake on the front fender. Thanks for looking.
My Neighbour has a 60's model looks identical to what is pictured. He found it in Windsor ON about 5 years ago. The ad appeared on Kijiji, he called and drove the 4 hours to get it immediately. It is in near perfect condition and is so annoying when running, it makes noticeably more noise than my big block, albeit a real tiny annoying engine sound. He loves it and runs all over town with it up to when the snow flys. He says he can keep up with city traffic fine and I think he said it can make 60 kph on the right road conditions. He paid $3,500 for it and has never done an ounce of work on it.

They are fairly rare here.
This '66 might be too new but the price is good:
Thanks for looking.
Here's a '67
1967 Vespa GT 125cc. $4000
I will take up to 66! That is an extremely good price especially for a super. Here that would be 2500. I wonder if shipping from canada is expensive?

Wow! That would go well in an RC truck!
