You could always buy the used car package at the MTO and see if it survives today.

Or if you are really ambitious you could do the tremclad foam roller paint method. Believe it or not it does work but it is labour intensive. I tried it on a Studebaker fender in black and after I wet sanded and polished it it had the same sheen as original paint.

Holy cow........was lookin' thru some old papers and found the bill of sale from a dealer in 1962
that sold my Dad the 57.....he was buying it for my older brother, paid $900 plus 3% pst.

Four door sedan similar to the pic below in color combo but a sedan. It had a 283 with a 4 bbl and a 3 on the tree.
My brother put a hot cam in it, geez did that thing fly.
After getting my license in Aug 62 I took it to Niagara drag strip and turned a 16.7....used to pump the front tires up to 55#
and drop the rears to about 20.........it was all over the road but hey I was young and racin' right.......YIKES!!
That car became mine in 1963 and I sold it to a Bob Flanagan in Scarboro, Ont in the fall of 1964.
