regarding 68 b body. I'm at the car now trying to remove the lower trim on the rockers fenders and quarter panels. I remove the screws but I'm having trouble removing the long mouldings from their clips. Do I just try harder? Or maybe there's a method somebody could help me out with soon? Thanks!

I tried the same thing years ago and the only way I could do it was to slide it horizontally along the car, being careful not to scratch the paint.

Thanks Scott! I don't have to worry about paint on this one.
Now I have the same question regarding a remote mirror. I remove the mirror from the door but of course the adjustment knob at the end of the cord doesn't look like it will fit through the hole. Does something need to be detached? And the next question for whoever is reading - is this correct for a 1968 Parisienne? If it is correct for that car and you want it Scott, I will ship it to you. I would think that the interior knob would come off somehow, maybe threaded? Just a thought.

normally the remote control knob and all should fit out through the center hole on the door panel. You have to remove the mounting bracket first of course.

gm clips need to be squeezed from behind to remove them, if you don't have that you could cut openings from behind , or find nos before you destroy them

Regarding removing the long stainless pieces from the rocker panels, there is a couple clips that hold the bottoms of the moldings. They're held in by hex head screws (5/16" or 3/8" heads), so you should just be able to remove the screws, and the bottoms of the moldings should then be free. Push the moldings up a bit to release them from the 6 or 7 clips that run between the wheel wells.
