Looking for a decent 65 Strato /Laurentian, 64/65 Biscayne/Bel Air steering wheel. Can't be Parisienne/Custom sport/ Impala/SS as they were different in horn ring and wheel.
Cracks are ok provided they aren't huge and the wheel is restorable. Colour really isn't a big deal either, but prefer the light blue if possible.
My original wheel is basically crumbling.
Any leads or suggestions appreciated,
Thanks, Mark
Edited to include Chevrolet on the list. Not totally sure at this point if the 64 Chev wheels were shared over on the Laurentian/Strato.
Not my wheel;

I have no idea Todd, but thanks. I'd think any 65-66 Canadian B Pontiac might work. But I'm not sure about the USA Pontiac crossover.
The 65 CP seems to be a weird hybrid of sorts.

Even if the Catalina wheel did work, the Canadian cars used Chevrolet steering wheels.
Below are 3 different steering wheels that might look similar, but specifically note the differences in diameter & also the horn ring diameter.

1964 Chevelle:
1965-66 Chevelle:

Thanks Cameron,
I've seen pictures of a 65 Catalina Hub, and it is no where near the same as Chevrolet.
You learn as you go along, and one interesting point is that the 64/65 "B Chevrolet" wheels appear to be identical through the model ranges. That surprised me they used the "Old" wheel, as the 65 was touted as being "All New".
I could simply put a repop 64/65 Parisienne or Impala wheel on the 65. It will work on my column, but I feel a correct wheel is key to a good looking, genuine feeling interior. So since they don't yet make a repop for the 64/65 Strato/Laurentian/Biscayne/Bel Air, it'll be a search to find a good wheel to restore. At least nice horn rings are easy to come by. The Pontiac center button might be hard to find in good shape. I have one, but it isn't very good at all. It'll be a crowning touch to find a nice one.
I've found a potential Complete wheel donor from this post, and I'm hopeful it's in good restorable condition. As far as the center button shell and medallion, even that is unique between the Laurentian/Parisienne range, and don't cross. Another thing learned I guess.
Here's the old relic, and what would be considered a very good wheel..

I have this one but I am thinking this is an impala version
Mark, the GM parts books say only 65 Strato Chief, Laurentian, BelAir, Biscayne for the wheel you need.
My favourite yard has a number of 65 Chevies so I bet he has one, although it would undoubtedly need restored. And I checked the US Pontiac parts book. As you stated, none of them used that wheel.

If the one that pmgto has is not suitable I also have a red one here that I'm pretty sure is Bel Air/Laurentian issue from 64/5/6, and though not perfect, is in far better condition than the one you have. If you need it let me know and I'll send you some pics.

Yes, Impala/Pariseinne.
Looks like a pretty decent wheel though.
