Acadian/Nova Bench Seat 4 Speed Carpet Trim Ring 65-67

This is quite a long shot but a guy has to start somewhere....
I only recently found out that a bench seat 4 speed X body in the years mentioned above would have a small trim piece around the hole in carpet to finish it off. Has anyone ever seen one, and if so, any idea if it was ever reproduced?
A guy mentioned this on another forum, and posted a picture.
I've been looking at that one but a guy who tried one says it didn't fit well. And that listing is wrong. The one shown only fits 64. Mine is the same as 65-66 Impala but it's never been reproduced.

What about the transfer case shifter boot trim from a square body pickup? Wouldnt their dimensions have been close.

Hmm, I don't recall what they used. I'll have to look at some pictures.
Thanks for the tip!

I've looked at a bunch of pictures but I can't find them using a ring like this John. Any ideas?

What year are you talking about? Are you meaning 60's as well, or the Iraqi taxis?

I found a picture online of one. 65wagon has an older Blazer and maybe he could get you measurements.
OK no that looks different. I'm after one with nothing visible retaining it.

Below looks like a good match to at least the 65 type boot. But at 75 USD for a piece of plastic... it's just stupid. Is the listing below misleading? It says Impala bench 64-66?

Of course, you're probably already following this thread on CT, right?
Yes that listing is wrong. The repro Impala boot doesn't fit newer than 64.
And yes, crazy money but I won't even tell you what a used 65-66 boot brings if you can even find one...
I'd pay the $75 US to finish off my 4 speed conversion.

I'm thinking 80's. bud had an 81 or 2 with a 3 spd floor shift.

It's been a while but I have stripped a couple of manual setups from those cars and I didn't think they have anything like this?

The picture is supposedly a nova ring on a 65 B with said original bench boot. To my eye it looks to be a fair fit, no? A half inch top and side isn't that bad.
It would certainly do for now... At least until we get our own in-house 3D printing guru here.
I wonder how you would go about starting to talk to, and perhaps convincing a big USA Impala parts house to reproduce some bench rings and boots?

checked the jimmy its a no go, and I have the covers for the later 80s malibus, also a no go, I realized the 60s malibus use a chrome tower. im looking too because the wagon is missing its cover but im not at the driving stage yet.

Carl, I have one for the 1965 Nova 4 speed I am currently working on. The only few that I have seen for sale, have been originals.
I also seen that post on Steves Nova Site.
Frank
Could you post a picture of it with dimensions?
Specifically I would like to know the measurement of the opening in it, length and width.
Carl here are some pictures. The first 2 are the top and the last 2 are the bottom.
Let me know if you need anything else.
Frank
Close, oh so close!
Nobody reproduces the one for B body.
Are impala seals that much different in size?
