Thank you for checking, see enclosed photos trunk emblem is 14 inches long, where as fender one is only 10. Otherwise they are similar.
Do you have any other leads on this piece, I'm new to Canadian Poncho; is this the right format for me to post? Do you know any other sites that could help me... still searching thanks Paul
The autowrecker in Red Cliff AB had a trunk script for a 69 but wanted to much in my books. $70 a couple years ago. I can't recall the name, maybe Cliff will post in.

Sorry, not what I meant. What is the name of the wrecking yard at Red Cliff? At the time you didn't have the script so suggested them.

I have one Paul. Unfortunately it's busted.
But owing to where the break is, it still could be used as it has pins either side of the break. The tangs on the pins are still good as well, pitting yes, but the emblem would clean and paint up pretty nice I think.
It's your's for the postage if you could use it in the interim, it would be presentable until a nice one comes along.
Yes would love to have it thanks, just to confirm the total length is 14 inches; car also has similar name plate on front fenders (10 inches long), and those don't fit. I am in New Brunswick, can have someone pick it up; if that's ok, if not let me know how much to ship it.
Do you ever make it to Mississauga, my cousin has a business there Leger's awning - 1605 Sedlescomb Drive, his name is Keith at 905-282-1440, also an old car guy!
Let me know what's easiest for you.
Thanks,
Paul

A dab of JB weld on the back should hold it together.

The price is right on the one from Mark. Check it out when you get it and if you're happy, great. If you want to continue searching here's a pic taken almost 4 years ago at a yard in Tilley, AB. Let me know if you want contact info.

Not sure what you're talking about Eric. I just mentioned that I'll see if I have one tonight - and no I don't.
I can't think of a wrecking yard at Redcliff, do you mean Tilley AB, just east of Brooks?

Yes, please forward yard information in Tilley AB, with any luck it might still be there.

Bloody Old Timers memory loss. From the above pic it would or should be the yard at Tilley. As I at least recall the pic from them was on a white trunk lid. Sorry for the confusion.

Hello Mr. Craig,
Thank you for the name plate (see enclosed photo). It looks perfect; not even visible that it is broken and completing the car, will be sending payment this week.
Also looking for other Canadian Poncho parts:
1961 Parisienne: Mouldings both sides, fender and front door of four door sedan car. The wide molding with Parisienne block letters built into the molding. See enclosed photos.
1970 2 + 2 trunk name plate reads Pontiac underlined, mine is pitted pretty bad. I believe the strato chief had the same name plate.
Is there any way we could see more picks of your Canadian Pontiacs ?
I personally think that 69 4 door could be a monthly feature car.
I would love to hear the story about it !

Paul, don't worry about any payment. Just give us a wee peek of what appears to be a great Pontiac collection!
Do I see a blue 65?

I should be able to help you out with a 1970 trunk lid "Pontiac" emblem. The 2+2's had the letters filled in with black, whereas I think the Strato-Chief & Catalina were just chrome. Let me see what I have.

I've heard about Paul's place in Shediac, NB.
I bought a bunch of '63/'64 Chev parts off a guy (he owned a '63 409 Impala at one time) in Point-du-Che'ne/Parlee Beach, and he told me about Paul.

Here you go. It's 19-1/2" long, in really nice shape. There's a few pits along the bottom, and all 4 studs are intact and the correct acorn nuts are there too. While these look similar to the ones on the A-body LeMans, they are definitely different.
thank you for finding the trunk emblem. will measure mine and confirm. from your photos , looks to be the one without the black paint in sunken letters, plse confirm, would much prefer a pained one if available, but maybe I could paint it, Also it appears you know these cars very well, questions for you: my 1970 2+2 is missing its stripe painting, you wouldn't have photos of its correct striping color, and measurements for the 1970 2+2 . I saw different versions, especially around the trunk name plate area, some had solid white behind trunk name plate areas, and a divided stripe on remaining trunk edge, it looked factory, but looked different to the sales brochure photo(my 2+2 is dark brown like brochure photo) maybe there was different versions, but given the limited number they made in 1970, you wouldn't think so..maybe a mid year change, or revision after brochure was printed, but since you have two of them, if they are a match to each other ,then those would tell the storey .also my 2+2 has the skirts ,and they look good on the car, but I never saw another 1970 2+2 with them, and that brings up the question of the stripe detail around the back quarters ,did you ever see one with the stripe across the skirt as opposed to up sround rear wheel lip. it is possible Parisienne skirts may have been added to the car. I love to give a car its factory look, my passion is with full size cars, my cars are either barnfinds or survivers, they are not restored queens, but I make all efforts to make them correct in every detail, including factory interiors, any help is much appreciated...tks Paul
Looking to find 1969 Parisienne trunk emblem as per photo, only year that fits. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul
Just took look but no success. Have the 2 from the front fenders which look similar but Im sure are different.
