Recently came across the above car, that has been sitting for awhile on pavement..It is complete with the honey comb wheels.
Body is decent along with frame, typical drivers seat needing repair, cool looking hood, grill is good, full gauge package etc.
My question is any value for this year, my understanding last year back then for GTO
Unsure of running status no keys, but my gut says it will. powered by the 455/Automatic.

Hagerty values the 73 GTO in fair condition at $6400 USD and in good condition at $9700 USD. That should give you an idea as to what the one you are looking at is worth.

1974 was the last year of the GTO, it was the small Nova style body.

I had a great weekend last bought a 1970 GTO JUDGE. Wondering what Hagerty value is right now( its all apart original 400 is blown) and when it is running. Lamp option hood and trunk Ram Air hood with pull cable. I haven't picked up all the parts yet so might be looking for the special exhaust manifolds. Pepper green and Tan interior should be last car I buy as my and budget shop is getting backed up. lol
A base Judge in fair condition is $39300 USD, good condition: $54500 USD

Pete Bruner of Calgary AB had a yellow 455 GTO (an Olds 455). Click the link to see his story and the car. Besides the Olds 455 the car has Luxury LeMans taillights so these two distinguishing features should be enough to ID it as Pete's. BobF may have more information on this car and owner. As an Oshawa car it is one of 231 Sport Coupes made. In 1973 there was no GTO, there was a GTO option so the VIN will not tell you if the car was a GTO option it will show either F37 for a Sport Coupe or D37 for a base LeMans, this one obviously a F37. A GTO option will have in the fifth position of the VIN either a T = 400 or Y = 455.

Is it for sale? There's a market for this car, there's a market for any classic car. The 73 GTO appeals to a limited audience but those who like them, like them a lot. Condition is everything, when it comes to putting a value on it.
Is it in Calgary? Does it look like what 73SC posted?

Um... yeah, that's it. This GTO is for sale in Calgary.
Quite a difference in the two sets of photos. Clearly a lot has happened in the intervening years.

Now for the next big questions, what happened to Pete and his 1 of 2 1974 400 4 speed Oshawa LeMans.

More than I thought it would pull at auction.

I just came across this thread;
Does anyone know what happened to this car?
I wonder what happened to the owner - the link about the car still works, and it reads like this guy really loved his GTO.
In the early 2000's I would often see a metallic grey one around, but these cars are few and far between.

I don't know what happened to Pete or his cars. A change of priorities in life, I guess - of his own making or not.

Just back to the site after some time away. Hobbzly, I am sorry for your loss and really sorry to hear about Pete's passing. Only ever met him virtually, but that goes back a very long time. Lost touch over the past decade.

hopefully his memory might be honored by that GTO finding a new life...
I'd like to know what happened to it.
I don't recall ever seeing his car around town - but I would have surely picked his brain at why he did and Oldsmobile engine swap...
I do recall seeing a mettalic(?) grey 455 GTO a couple times - many years back.
I last saw it on Macleod Trail getting a car wash at the self serve wash north of Chinook mall.
