Hi,
Thanks for responding
I'd say my car is 8 out of 10. The chrome is original and not pitted. Is your horn ring pitted? Is it complete or is the ring missing? Broken? Any pictures?
Thanks Dan

We do need pics of your car and some details on it and welcome to Canadian Poncho by the way. Did you get gm heritage documents on it?

Thanks for the welcoming words. I purchased this local 1963 Pontiac off a lady which originally belonged to her parents. It was their Sunday (car to church, go for a drive, go visit relatives car). It"s never seen a winter! All original with only 55,000 miles and the local dealership sticker still on the car. Upon purchase she did hand me some paperwork that GM sent her which she would but on display in car show. They are still in boxes, don't know how detailed they are. I'd be very much interested in getting it's history. How do you go about it? As for pictures let me see if I can send you a couple from this summer as I'm still learning to navigate this site.
Can I talk you into writing up a story on the car and submitting it with pictures to the site administrator so he could do it as a monthly feature car? (like you currently see at the top of this page)

ring glued together after being broken this summer when someone without looking was going to back into my car in a parking lot. I quickly pushed on the bar portion but one of my fingers got caught right where the ring joins the horn bar portion. It was either that or take the hit. I chose to honk and honk.

Sorry I can't help with the horn ring, but just want to say what a beautiful car you have there! It would be a perfect monthly feature car IMHO.

Mine has some pitting and there are 3 little clips, pot metal, on the backside, that hold the emblem in place, one is broken off. I used a bit of gasket RTV to keep the emblem in place. The emblem clear plastic is cracked/crazed, plus the black paint on the face of the horn ring is old and could use a repaint. It was on my car when I bought I, I have a better one on my car now from a convertible I parted out. As that old saying goes, it is what it is. If you can get some kind of superglue to fix your break, is the crack still visible? If you consider this worth having, PM me. You would likely want to move your emblem to this one.
Does anyone out there have a Horn ring for 63 Pontiac Parisienne? See picture thanks

Just to let you know, the 63 Parisienne horn ring is the same as the 63 Bel Air, but for the horn button.
