Does anyone know where i can find a disc brake conversion kit for my 66 parisienne?

There are a ton of suppliers down here - Ecklers, Original Parts Group, Impala Bob's, and others - that offer conversions for '66 B-Bodies, but let some of our experts with similar cars counsel you on any differences between Yanqui Chebbies and Canadian Ponchos before investing. The prior owner converted my '66 Beaumont to discs before I got it, using a kit for Chevelles, but YEMV. Looks like $750-$1,000 greenbacks; too much to take a flyer on.
Not happy with the wheel cut that the kit left me with - once we get the rest of the mods done, we're going to tackle the steering geometry. "Give me 40 acres, and I'll turn this rig around"!

Consider your 66 as pure Impala as far as brakes and suspension go. All the big parts houses offer some sort of 11" rotor single piston caliper kit. Although I've never gone this way, they likely will work very well.
I've preferred to go the OEM route, and have done 2 single piston 12" rotor conversions, and one C3 Corvette 4 piston conversion. I used complete 69/70 Impala disc brake setups for the single pistons. I managed to snag the entire setups on line over the years. They do come up form time to time, but you have to be quick. All in all, if you get lucky, the OEM single piston route can actually be cheaper than a smaller 11" kit. The C3 Vette will cost more, and both conversions will need at a minimum, a 15" or larger Rally or aftermarket wheel. 14" won't work.
With the C3 setup, I pieced it together one part at a time starting with the spindles. There are posts on here describing the conversion.

Thanks for the info, I've been on the web and it is hard to find parts for my car so far. Do you know if anyone makes body panels? we used to get jobber ones when i was doing bodywork years ago. fenders, rockers etc

I had managed to get some jobber rear quarters some years ago when I was doing the work on my 66 but they were a rough approximation at best. Depending on how much rust you have you might be better off just making patches yourself instead of trying to make these fit and look good. (Not sure if you can ever get them any more- I think the brand was cross canada.)
Floor pans and trunk stuff should be available through those sources mentioned though.
I hope your car is not too crumbly. Thats what really takes the time.
The other thing these cars were pretty bad for is a rusted out frame especially right behind the front drivers wheel.

ya thanks, i will have the car home soon, the guy im buying it from is coming here on Wednesday with the registration so it will officially be mine then. have a friend with a car carrier to pick it up in the next couple weeks. excitited to get on it.
