Hey everyone Ive been around Most of the day for a rear disc brake kit for my 12 bolt!
ive looked through summit, cpp, jegs, speedway and a lot of the kits on there have mixed or poor reviews!
so Im wondering if anyone one on here has swapped disc brakes onto there 12 bolts
looking to spend under 1000$ if possible

Just an FYI, I don't think there'd be any difference in a disc brake kit whether it's a 10 bolt or 12 bolt.

I documented a C3 (JL-8 4 wheel disc brake) conversion kit on my '66 Chief. Easy peasy Japaneese. I'd rather create a system from all GM parts than just go out and "buy" a kit. But that's me......

Same here..took a bit of work but off the shelf parts!!!! 66 hubs....2000 rotors/calipers. Gotta luv chevy!! Just saying..can make your own...if you have the tools and time....

I found a post by you on another b body site last night, so you need the 2 of everything Front the right side? Does that include calipers?

Well my 2 cents
When I restored my Beaumont I purchased all my power brake components through The Right Stuff.
When I purchased through The Right Stuff, I simply selected the car , model and year for my application.
SO I selected 1967 Chevelle A Body car, and at the time I had a GM 12 bolt in the car, then I selected everything from the power booster, master cylinder , portioning valve, front rotors calipers and pads were a unit, along with spindles and bearings.
The rear assembly was really nice it came with calipers and brackets that bolt to the diff flanges , which is exactly like seventy 2plus2 stated are the same brackets for the 10 bolt, which I also have.
The E-brake set up is spring tensioned right on the caliper bracket, really works well. I believe this arrangement is from one of the larger buick or olds lines ?

Same here..took a bit of work but off the shelf parts!!!! 66 hubs....2000 rotors/calipers. Gotta luv chevy!! Just saying..can make your own...if you have the tools and time....
