finally installed the disk brakes on the old wagon. multiple steps involved, first I had to build the tools to press out bushings ,sand blast all the parts paint and refurbish then install every part
And you know, the 4 piston caliper mounting brakets bolt right up to the rear-if it's a 12 bolt. Easy peasy swap.

if I lived on pavement maybe , but I have lots of gravel, already have two with rear disks that's enough, I was thinking larger drums though.

had to finish up on the brakes finally rears got a proportioning valve and a residual plus I had to reblead the fronts for some reason. the pedal is nice and firm now to work on her after the move so I can drive again

Is that the 67-68 JL2 caliper or a C3 Vette? the carrier bracket certainly looks like C3.
its all 81 vette, lots around since they tended to rust

got one meant for a impala with four piston fronts, saved the box for a number
