Trusting everyone is well and busy working on their treasures. I am currently replacing the trunk floor on my 65 Custom Sport and cannot find the details I had documented routing the backup light wiring. Hoping that someone can snap a pic with measurements for me when convenient. Looking for locations where the wires for the backup lamps and LP lamp go to from inside the trunk. Thanks in advance.

If someone can't help sooner, I will likely have access to mine later this week.

The LP lamp goes through a grommet just behind and just slightly inside the trunk latch frame edge. Sits 1" above the sill.
Backup lamps, I don't know as the lower line cars don't have them. I do at least know the wiring connectors for them are attached to the body braces. A Parisienne guy will know.

Not true... option, that Strato I picked up this fall is optioned with them... T-86. 6cyl, 3-a-la-tree.
I would check but it is under 3 feet of snow at the moment.

Here's some pics from my all original 65 CS License lamp feed is a bit behind the trunk latch support but just enough that it isn't bumped. It's about 1 1/8" above the horizontal.
Here's the feeds to the backup lights. passemgers side first.
The tape is an old guys attempt at what Mark does with his fancy modern editing. It shows that the hole is 1" from the rear crease and 1 5/8" from the center of the trough.
Now the drivers side.
Again 1" From the crease and 1 5/8" from the center of the trough.
Seems like it would be a bad spot for those wires and pass throughs Ted. Get damaged easily with items in the trunk. But I guess 57 some years proved otherwise!

We both know how things aren't always engineered with common sense in mind lol
Accoring to GMVVS docs the backup lites are factory installed.

I found this image. Could the plug to the backups be like the plug for the front running lights?
The one where female comes through and attaches in the apron, and the male connects through the engine compartment.
Seems wrong though.
