Im sure I have seen those blanks at the swap meets.
Someone will know someone kinda thing here.
Does the blank have a code or part number?
Something tells me a Briggs and Stratton blank is the same??
I seem to remember a conversation with a vendor regarding those blanks
I could be wrong.

They are widely available on line Greg. I'd like to skip that part if possible.
Funny, I've been to 4 places (though not a lock shop yet) and they have trunk blanks that are super close, but no match.

if I recall correctly that style blank was replaced with the later style - I don't know which type of old is the same as the newer type... Actually come to think of it, I got a couple of those in from my wife's grandfathers' "junk" stash... now I need to look for them!!

Found them! how do I tell which style they are?
Mine are the old brass GM/Briggs and Stratton keys. They have the mostly oval head, not the octagon head.

that image you showed, I have a brass version of the "pear" key on the right.
On my '65 Chevelle the B10 Octagon Key is for Ignition, Glove Box Lock & Doors. The B11 Round Head Key is for the Trunk.

yes I have 2 octagon now 1 that is ignition and 1 that is trunk

I would expect if the slots in the key allows the key to slide into the lock, the edge can be cut to match your key/lock. The locks and ignition on my 61 Impala use the same key. Same goes for my 58 Yeoman.

Comparing my 65 keys to the 67. 65 has same sized slots front and back.
Though not super apparent, 67 trunk has a larger slot (red arrow) on the front and backside compared to the ignition.
I learn something new everyday here...
Somebody lost the original ignition key for the 65 hence the DL replacement, the trunk key still has the knockout and code. Look how worn those 65 keys are, near worn out. The 67's have only 43000 and were put away when I got the car.
Anyone have a a pair of 65/66 GM key blanks B10-B11 they'd part with?
Even a single trunk/glovebox B11 would be good. ? I'm having trouble finding that one down here. Lots of ignition/doorlock, just no trunk.
Any help greatly appreciated,
