That would be incredible if only 2 were built and the other one exists as well! This one is black with red interior, power windows and power antenna.

If this is the case - only two built - then the other one may be the red on red one from Quebec that I saw at Barrie years ago before it was restored, and once again at Steve Plunkett's after it was restored. The owner had full photo documentation of the restoration.

HI TODD,
I TALKED TO A LAD THAT HAD A 409 FOR SALE YEARS BACK.
HE TOLD ME IT WAS OUT OF A 64 PONTIAC HARDTOP WITH A 4 SPEED.
AT THAT TIME HIS DAD STILL HAD THE BODY, NORTHERN ONTARIO ? .
I WAS TOLD BY HIM 15 WITH THAT OPTION.
MISTER PONTIAC 409 GUY IN SOUTHERN ALBERTA ( FORGOT HIS NAME)
WAS RESTORING ONE FOR A FELLOW FROM TORONTO, 409 4 SPEED, 340 HP.

Good morning. I bought this car this week. It is in NWO and was sold new locally. 99 k on the clock so it was thoroughly enjoyed. My grandson was the one who inquired here initially. Its a little ragged and the front clip is AWOL. Hopefully find that at another property this weekend. Indeed, a 63 with the original engine. Needless to say I was pretty excited. Finding a trunk load of parts was pretty thrilling as well. Thanks for listening. Ill figure out how to post pics and put some up.

Welcome here. You can put me down as another one keen to hear and see more of this car. What a great find! No matter if it's ragged, the pedigree makes it pretty special.
Most everything is there. Driveshaft and starter appear to be MIA. Lots of extras though, chrome and tail lights in particular.

In summer 1966 a fellow apprentice (Vic Wilson) owned a 63 Parisienne 409 340hp four speed.
The car was white with gold interior (bucket seats). One of the features we all noticed right
away it had power windows. He later sold the car to a buddy (Bill Jessop) and from there we
lost touch. Beautiful car - wonder if it is still around.......

Awesome find imho. The tach should be a high redline, looks like it is. The shifter is a Hurst aftermarket, the handle is from a Hurst Indy shifter.
I would contact vintage Services and see if they have an update on the 1996 letter, they usually include the numbers of this model number built with a 409, they may not have had that is 1996.
The interior looks in very very good condition, frame looks real good from what I can see.

Here is a copy of the CSL 14G for the 4 speed transmission. Four speeds were not RPO'S on Canadian cars until 1964.

Wow, I'm never too old to learn.
When I was a kid my older brother had a friend with a Canadian 63 Impala 409 4 speed. Does this document mean the car was still assembled that way at the factory though?

I got a message on Facebook from a fellow who has a 63 Parisienne 2 door hardtop with a 409 / 4 speed.
Does anyone know how many Parisiennes had 409's that year? Even overall 409 production for '63 would be helpful.
