Local Beaumont

I've seen this car a few times this past year, but never met the owner. Nice car though.

Here's one from a Vancouver car show in the early 70's.
Sorry about the dust, it was scanned from a slide.

I have one similar. 1967 Beaumont SD 396/325. I am kind of a distant local, in KY. I am testing posting a picture.

Nice color combo, black with blue interior.

It is actually Deep Blue with a blue interior. I am not sure why my pictures come out small on the posts.

If you upload your photos to a free photo hosting site like photobucket, you can post them here full size.

That is a sweet 64 Beaumont. I see it has Alberta plates on it. I have seen an almost identical car at a show on the west coast of BC.

Ok, I've resized some of my photos for this site. Here is a Beaumont that I've seen a few times, but here it's at the annual Three Hills cruise held the first saturday in June every year.
It's tubbed and has a pretty healthy sounding engine in it.

I know the owner of the 64 Beaumont Custom rag, he's a member of my club.   The pictures looks like they were taken next door to what used to be Soda Jerk's in St Albert AB.

Spent four summers in a row on vacation at that place looking at cars.   It was the highlight of my trip to Edmonton each summer.   Too bad the place closed.

That's the A&W on 137th Ave. in North Edmonton. I'd heard about Soda Jerks, but never been.

Okay,

That's the place that took over the Friday/Saturday night cruise since Soda Jerks went under.
So that's the A&W at 137 and 122'nd right? Does anyone go to the Petro-Canada at Old Fort Rd and 122'nd on Thursday nights? in Edmonton I think i have the street address right.

What about Main St on Wednesday nights south side of Edmonton? Anyone go there? is it still the place to cruise to Wednesday nights?

Wed. nights is the Millwoods Mall by the A&W.
Thursday nights is the PetroCan station/A&W at Fort road and 137th.
and Friday at 137th and I guess about 122nd. I don't know the cross street.confused
Thursday is usually the best attended.

Hey StriperSS,

Is Millwoods Mall on the south side of Edmonton on 66 St below White Mud? I think that's were the Main St cruise happens on Wednesday nights. There's a Wendy's, Pizzia Hut and McDonalds if its the same mall. There should be a firestation across the street and up the block a bit.

Know how to get to the place but not sure on the street names.

Yep, you got it. I may have some photos and short videos of cars at that place.
