A friend of mine works for NOS and says the quality is good. I'm heading over there in the next week or so to check them out. My Laurentian takes the same carpet. I'll let you know how they look. Todd
Try NOS reproductions. Their carpets are of good quality. I assume you'd want a carpet from a 65 Chevy. Can anyone verify this? Here's the link: CLICK HERE

Since your friend works there. Is NOS a middle man company like Year One??
My other 70 GTO has a brown int. This is a discontinued colour(crap)I did find a 68 brown carpet that was close from Auto Custom Carpets out of CA.,but still on the hunt for the headliner and sail panels.I've tried all the big US parts companies, but get the same answer. We don't carry that colour.
From what I understand, they don't get much, if anything from Year one. I can't remember the company they deal with for carpets, but I do know they buy them by the transport truck load. Their prices are competitive and the quality is good. Todd
ive used them for my trans am and now the 59 laurentian and they both fit great and also good prices. The one guy there even remembered me and my car when i stoped in 3 months later and asked how the carpet was.
Good timing guys, thanks. I am getting ready to order an Acadian carpet soon, and was wondering where/who to get it from. I prefer to shop on this side of the border if I can.

Thanks for the link to NOS.I phoned today and he told me to send a loonie sized sample of my headliner to him and he would try to match it up or send what's close. They do get the their carpets from ACC.They're a great carpet and the only complaint I have is cutting all the holes for seats, belts and console. That insulation is tough to get thru
I called there today. I have to say, if there service is half as good as the guy I spoke to (Chris) they will be getting some business from me. It was VERY refreshing to speak to someone with such a great attitude and a desire to help. Very refreshing!
Now I have to decide what all I need to order.
I forgot to ask him what brand weatherstripping they sell. Does anyone know?

A good friend of mine has been working at NOS for about 5 years. He works behind the scenes and does the shipping and receiving as well as the trips to the states to pick up special orders. I spent quite a bit of time with the staff when I ordered my upholstery, carpet and armrest. Top notch service. They are located pretty much in the middle of nowhere and they are always busy. I'm going to talk to my friend to see if he can convince them to offer a discount to Poncho members. Don't get your hopes up but it's worth a try! Todd
I told Chris I heard about them through here and he said he was familiar with this site. I never thought of asking for a group deal. That is a great idea.
