I am thinking this should make most Pontiac guys go "huh"???
In about 1980 or so, I answered an ad for a 67 Grand Parisienne. When I got there, I found a 2 door hardtop, no engine in it. Buckets, console, tilt, 12 bolt posi. I made a deal to buy it for 50 bucks, and went back the next night with my trailer. When I got it home and started looking it over, I noticed a sheet metal box under the passenger seat, as well as this bezel mounted on the dash. I can't even remember where the switch was mounted.
Anyone else ever seen one or heard of one?

Oh, and as we were getting ready to leave, I asked what happened to the engine. The lady said it was in an old shed. She asked if I wanted to buy it too. We went to look at it, and I paid her the $25 she wanted extra for it. .....396.........!!!

I just looked at a 1967 Pontiac order form and option C47 is HEATER-UNDERSEAT. It appears that the switch bezel is straight on the front face. All the other switches I have seen have a curved front face.

I know, that seems odd to me too. It looks like a 66 bezel. It sure looked like a factory installation in the car, though.
Neat that you found the option code. I will have to dig harder in the parts book. The one time I looked there, I didn't find it.
